Research Interests

My project focuses on developing new theranostic systems for the specific targeting, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In particular I'm involved in the preparation, characterization and in vitro / in vivo evaluation of the biodistribution and citotoxicity of agents like ferritin and liposomes. I'm also interested in defining the biological and molecular dynamics of tumor microenvironment and inflammation through confocal microscopy and magnetic resonance imaging techniques.
